Chef Nick Berolo, an executive chef par excellence, brings a fervent passion and remarkable talent to the culinary scene. He honed his love for cooking while obtaining his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. With a prestigious Cordon Bleu degree and a distinguished red seal certification under his belt, Nick has been at the forefront of kitchen management for over a decade in both fine dining restaurants and major hotels. His expertise lies in combining skills obtained from his background in the fine arts and his culinary creativity. The combination of his unique talents results in dishes that both transport you to childhood memories, and make you question what your eyes are telling you is before you, think a simple orange placed in front of you, once cut open reveals a chocolate orange ice-cream with an edible candied peel. He has since married his love affair with scotch whisky and his culinary aptitudes to astonish those in attendance of the Whisky Wonderland, eastern Ontario’s newest whisky festival.
